What can yoga do for me? | What do I need to bring to class? | What should I wear?


Power yoga is a dynamic, energizing form of yoga. Classes are 75 minutes long and take place in a heated studio, which will help keep your muscles warm throughout the practice and help you stretch deeper.

What can yoga do for me?

Practicing Power Yoga will help you get stronger and leaner. It develops functional strength. It is a more complete workout than you can get using machines at the gym. Power yoga can especially help you develop both upper and lower body strength. And if that's not enough, it also develops core strength, which is really important to help prevent back injuries.

As an athlete, yoga can help prevent injury by helping to even out muscle groups. Yoga is also a great cross-training opportunity.

What do I need to bring to class?

You should bring a water bottle, your yoga mat, and a towel (for sweat). We offer yoga mats for sale and rental if you need one. Also, it is best to practice on an empty stomach.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in easily. Wear something you can sweat in comfortably. We have changing rooms at the studio.
