Liz found yoga to perfectly balance her life on and off the mat and believes it harmonizes her passion as an environmentalist. Her classes are driven by her love for Vinyasa (flow), but integrate fundamental elements of Ashtanga.

Liz encourages her students to challenge themselves and build strength using breath and mental awareness. Liz has been teaching yoga for eight years, most recently in Washington, D.C. She has specific training in providing adjustments and assists to students to help improve alignment and find full expression of a pose. Liz also teaches yoga to youth, using it as a means to increase self-esteem and fitness. Off the mat liz is an aspiring farmer, teaches urban gardening and community building and can usually be found running with her dog in the woods or the garden.
