A Mighty Retreat: Where Power Meets Bliss

We have added a NEW Friday-Sunday option. Rates for the weekend start at $449 if you register by 10/15.

Sign up with a friend by 10/15, and you can BOTH SAVE $50 off the Early Bird rate!

Mighty Yoga’s first-ever destination retreat will be held at Good Commons, a sweet Green Mountain retreat center housed within a lovingly-restored historic home in Plymouth, Vermont. Teachers Heather Healey, owner of Mighty Yoga, and yoga teacher/artist Kim Hall have crafted this heart-filled long weekend to nourish the body and mind. Join us November 9 through 12 to refresh, reset, and renew so that you can experience fully the magic of the upcoming Winter season.

Layered with soothing, restorative yoga sessions and energetic workshops, this retreat will invite strength and suppleness into the physical body as well as bring balance to the mental-emotional body. The yogic traditions of introspection and self-care will leave your whole self feeling completely refreshed. Spending time deepening your yoga practice and relaxing within an open-hearted community will help you bring your best self to the busy season of holidays. Yoga teaches us that in order for us to give fully to others, we need to fill our own cup first.

This is a small and intimate retreat with the capacity of only 17 students. Hope to see you there! Send questions to Ithaca@mightyyoga.com.

MORE ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATIONS AT GOOD COMMONS:

Good-Commons-Retreats-and-Vacations-Plymouth-Vermont-e1367605585543.jpg

At Good Commons, we believe in consistently striving to be more conscious citizens.  We value art.  We value healing.  We respect the personal and creative process.  We value change and all the glories and struggles that accompany change.  We value the beauty of slowing down and going easy on the self.” - Tesha Buss, Owner

Tesha is a born hostess, and from the moment you arrive the house feels like home. The bedrooms are furnished simply with comfortable beds and majestic Green Mountain vistas, and although there’s a certain New England B&B feel, fear not: There’s nary a lace doily nor cheesy painting in sight.” - Nena Johnson, writer for Edible Manhattan.

This retreat has been designed to foster community and connection. We’ve chosen a venue that has communal living spaces and shared bedrooms on each floor.  All bathrooms are shared, though there are six in the house. There is a balcony on the second floor, a large hot tub on the deck, and a even a fire pit in the back garden. In addition to the shared spaces, the retreat center has lots of private nooks for solo time and quiet conversations.

Based in New Hampshire,  Heather is an accomplished Engineer and  owner/founder of Mighty Yoga Studios in Ithaca as well as Hanover NH, Lebanon NH.

Heather completed her 200-hr teacher training with Sean and Karen Conley of Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her 500-hr training with Liz Heffernan and Soma Yoga Institute. Heather started a regular yoga practice as a way to stay in shape after retiring from her time as an elite rower. It soon evolved from exercise into a way to relieve stress during the most intense parts of grad school. These days it helps to ground her when she's overwhelmed with everything going on in her world –  running three yoga studios, and being a mother of two energy-filled boys and a baby girl.
