Desk Staff

Mighty Yoga is looking for organized and friendly professionals to be a part of our welcoming desk staff team.  The ideal candidates are team players with problem solving skills, follow-through, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.  We're looking for a candidates who can provide excellent customer service & sales in addition to help with studio upkeep. Typical desk shifts are 3-4 hours long.

Essential Tasks:

  • Client Relations & Customer Service – Create a welcoming space for students and staff.  Utilize customer service oriented skills to sign students into class and conduct sales.  Act as a liaison between the studio & the students.  

Job Details:

  • Sign students into class, conduct sales, and answer inquiries  about the studio’s programs & offerings.

  • Remain current on studio offerings to sell our studio class and membership offerings.

  • Interface with clients in-person and over phone to field inquiries about the studio.

  • Maintain the studio’s welcoming and clean atmosphere for our students

  • Offer general support to the Studio Manager and Assistant Manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & professional skills

  • Aptitude to work successfully in a team.

  • Solid project/time management, problem-solving, organization skills

  • Familiarity with yoga industry and Ithaca & Mighty community

  • Proficiency in in Microsoft Office programs, Gmail and Google Applications

  • Sales experience and ability to multi-task a plus.
