How did you get introduced to Yoga?

I started practicing yoga in college to decompress and relieve stress. I also had numerous injuries from dance training and was trying to find an alignment focused technique to help heal my body. I started in the Ashtanga method which I loved and then branched out into Vinyasa Flow and Anusara styles to continue deepening my knowledge base. All these styles helped me heal in different ways.

Favorite yoga pose: Ardha Chandrasana because some days it eludes me and some days I feel as if I’m soaring!

What fuels you? I’ll be 50 this year and I still just want to play and be dorky. I hope I remain dorky for the rest of my days.

My NON-guilty pleasure is... coffee dates with my husband (with a slab of chocolate cake).

Favorite yoga pose: Revolved's one part of the practice that helps me twist out all sorts of bad energy, stretch the whole body, and, at the same time, makes me feel like I'm weaving through museum security laser lights.

Yoga is...a companion.

My NON-guilty pleasure is... giving my roommate's dog an extra treat now-and-then.

When I wake up in the morning, I always do these two things...  A) make a French press of coffee and B) drink it all.
