What can people expect in your Mighty classes?
A challenging, accessible, alignment focused flow. I want you to leave feeling like you found something in yourself after practice - be it space in the body, quiet in the mind, or anything in between!
Kendra completed her 200RYT with former Mighty teacher Jamie Silverstein at her studio in Seattle, The Grinning Yogi. Kendra’s teaching integrates challenging yet accessible flows linking body and breath to movement, graceful choreography between poses, and some great music. She likes to focus on key alignment cues and options to make the shapes accessible to a variety of practice levels. She loves teaching with music that helps students tune into their bodies by finding some mental clarity and quiet within the mind while they flow. She aims to leave students feeling balanced, refreshed, and more themselves after a class!
We asked Kendra:
Why do you practice yoga?
To find some quiet in the mind, and a flow state in the body! I love creating and finding space in my body that wasn’t there before the yoga.
What fuels you?
Being outside, being with my sweetie doing things we love (cooking, drinking coffee, reading…), and time with people I love!
Kendra’s favorite piece of wisdom:
“It is in your self-interest to find a way to be very tender” -- from artist Jenny Holzer.
