What can people expect in your Mighty classes?
I believe that every yoga pose tells us a story about how we have been treating ourselves, both physically and mentally. I like to remind students to listen to their inner wisdom while empowering them to take that insight off the mat and into their daily lives. Students can expect a positive vibe as we put things in perspective, set intention, and sweat out that stress!
Naomi spent years working in a high-stress job at a billion-dollar financial institution and a global ad agency, and her body and mind suffered for it. Her discovery of yoga, and the transformation that she experienced through it, has inspired her to bring its healing power to those in similar stressful situations. She is a 200hr Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Besides being a yogi, she is a RVS Wildlife Rehabilitator II, holds degree in Cinema, a Masters in Screenwriting, and works in marketing.
We asked Naomi:
Why do you practice yoga?
Before I started practicing yoga I felt like a stranger in my body: continually getting sick, constant back pain, chronically stressed and exhausted. Yoga transformed me by healing my body and bringing peace to my mind. Yoga is not a choice for me, it’s a necessity.
What fuels you?
Exploring a remote trail with my pup, bottle-feeding baby raccoons, singing “don’t worry about a thing” along with Bob Marley, laughing with my love.
