What can people expect in your Mighty classes?
I will meet you where you are with a smile as I incorporates breathing, movement and self-love into each class. Focusing on finding a flow that feels right for your body and having fun at the same time. Come as you are!
Sara took her first yoga class in the basement of a community center in the south side of Chicago where she grew up. She was 16 years old, struggling with a knee injury, and could never have known the path that this class would set her on! 10 years of practice later, Sara completed her 200 hour training while she was living in Washington, DC, completing modules focused on various yoga traditions including Vinyasa Flow, Alignment, Power, Ashtanga, Restorative, Chair Yoga, and Trauma- Sensitive Yoga. Over the last 5 years of teaching Sara has worked with diverse groups of yogis traveling everywhere from preschools to prisons to veteran centers to nursing home. Sara believes deeply in the transformational power of yoga and advocates that yoga should be accessible to all!
We asked Sara:
Why do you practice yoga?
Yoga is my space to disconnect from the outside, to come home to my body and reconnect with my heart and my mind.
What fuels you?
Curiosity, connection, and lots of coffee.
