Art of Assisting: For Yoga Teachers (Ithaca)

Hey, Yoga Teacher! Do you want to feel more confident offering adjustments?

There are so many ways we can connect with and empower our students as yoga teachers. Assisting is one of these powerful tools. In this workshop, we will talk about the three different ways to assist our students (verbal assists, demonstrating the pose, and hands-on), as well as when to (and when not to) use each of these methods.

We will talk about and practice hands-on assists in several of the most common poses in a vinyasa practice. We'll also record and share videos of the ones we practice for your future reference.

This workshop is open to those who have completed a 200-hr yoga teacher training. You'll get 3 hours of continuing education, approved by Yoga Alliance.

Cost: $125

Take advantage of Early Bird pricing: save $26 if you register by 12/31! Use promo code ASSIST at checkout.

We will hold an Art of Assisting Level 2 workshop later in the spring, which will cover more poses and more complex hands-on assists!
