Embody Mindfulness Workshops (Ithaca)

  • Mighty Yoga Ithaca (map)

Join instructors Erica Shockley & Stephanie Mulinos for a special mindfulness experience!

You are invited to settle your awareness in the present moment and discover ease in your body, mind, and heart during this four-part yoga series. Explore your inner landscape through breath supported movement that will guide the group into mindful meditation practices. Each in-person, two-hour workshop will utilize a similar structure of practice, integration, and community discussion to center a different theme: Ground, Expand, Allow, and Be.

Note: With each session building on the previous, you are encouraged to attend one or all experiences as you cultivate connection with yourself and fellow travelers.

What to expect

These workshops are Level 1 - accessible to all levels of practice and no previous meditation experience required. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in, meet other participants, enjoy a cup of tea, and settle. Comfortable clothing, a mat or towel, water, and a journal are suggested.

Proceeds

Acknowledging that our mindful yoga practice directly impacts our individual and collective experience off the mat, proceeds from this workshop series will go to support Friendship Donations Network. You will be able to select your personal level of contribution, starting at $10 per workshop, during the registration process.

Modeling a mindful approach to community care and environmental harm reduction, Friendship Donations Network rescues fresh food that would otherwise be thrown away from stores and farms, redistributing it to our neighbors in need. Serving more than 2000 people a week and diverting over 1,000 lbs. of good food from local landfill every day.

Dates

Please note that our schedule doesn’t allow you to register for anything further than two weeks away. If there’s a date you just can’t wait to sign up for, let us know!
