An Equity & Inclusion Focus at Mighty

At Mighty, our yoga practice empowers us to become resilient, strong, and connected, and this power is a platform for personal and community metamorphosis. As we are living in a revolutionary time, we turn to this ancient practice for guidance and support.

We believe that yoga is a tool for engaging with issues of social justice, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within our studio community as well as our collective community. We are committing to doing the work of learning, unlearning, and growing on a pathway that leads us to greater empathy, inclusion, and action.

As we focus on how to build more equity and inclusion within this Mighty community, we acknowledge that all efforts must be grounded in collaboration and communication. Moving forward, you can expect to receive regular updates as well as opportunities to engage. At this time, we are excited to announce the formation of a new Mighty Equity and Inclusion Working Group, charged with setting a firm foundation so that this important work can grow and be sustained at Mighty.

This is just the beginning of addressing issues of equity, inclusion and accessibility at Mighty, and we are excited to go on this evolutionary journey with you. A few ways you might get involved now include:

  • Learn: Check out this Podcast by Khushi Malhotra to learn more ways to apply the philosophy and practice of yoga to our everyday life.

  • Build: Make a connection with the folks you practice beside every week.

  • Sustain: Donate to the Mighty Community Fund to support access to yoga.

We look forward to sharing updates and developments with you as we dig into this work. Thank you for being here with us!
