Meet Rachel!
What is your favorite yoga/barre pose?
This month it’s been pigeon! It has so many options to isolate a particularly tight spot and calm the nervous system. My favorite element in barre is bridge. I love the strength and control it requires and working into my range of motion.
How does your barre/yoga practice build strength beyond the studio?
My practice allows me to be more stable and flexible. I am able to build a strong foundation that allows me to go with the flow and take change in stride. It also physically strengthens and supports me to be able to move through life pain free.
What is something others may not know about you?
I'm fluent in French and lived in France for two years doing my master's degree in dance studies!
