Pop-Up: Intro to Yoga!
New to Mighty and not quite sure what's happening when the instructor says "take a vinyasa" or "option to flip your dog"? You're not alone. Bridge the gap from newcomer confusion to frequent yogi confidence.
This monthly pop up class is designed for students just starting their yoga journey - or returning after time away. Led by Kim, an experienced instructor who's seen every stumbling block and answered every "wait, what?" question, we'll demystify the poses and cues that trip people up most. Learn the difference between chaturanga and upward dog, understand what "square your hips" actually means, and discover modifications that work for your body. We'll break down the shapes that confuse everyone at first and give you straight answers about what's actually happening in class.
But here's what matters most: building a practice you can sustain. We'll talk about pacing yourself, listening to your body's signals, and avoiding the burnout that comes from going too hard too soon. This isn't about perfection - it's about giving you the tools to show up, breathe, and actually enjoy yourself. Walk in with questions, leave with confidence, and start building your lifelong yoga habit the right way.
All levels welcome. Unheated class.
