I was first introduced to yoga when I was injured during ballet training years ago. After many years of intense dance and ballet training, I knew I needed a complement, and eventual shift, from the challenging, often draining, environment I was in. I wanted to find a physical practice that would keep me moving, but would give me more than just the exercise.
I found yoga and started practicing in high school, and have had a dedicated practice ever since. Over time, yoga became much more than a practice of staying active. It helped me rebuild strength, improve my body and spatial awareness, and develop a deeper sense of trust and understanding in myself. It has transformed both my physical and mental well-being, giving me a space to find balance, cultivate resilience, and stay grounded both on and off the mat.
Once I realized the benefits of yoga that had begun to change my body and mind, I knew I wanted to share this practice with others! I also love using my dance choreography background to create fun and creative sequences for all. I am truly passionate about bringing the benefits of yoga to everyone. In my classes, I strive to create an environment that feels both energizing and supportive, where students can challenge themselves while still feeling grounded and comfortable.
Off the mat, I love to read, spend time outside hiking and occasionally biking, spend time with my family and my wonderful dog, knit, and travel. I am passionate about my playlists in and out of class and look forward to sharing them at Mighty. I look forward to seeing you in class!
